Ample quality sleep is critical to restore and repair our bodies. And while it seems like the easiest, most natural thing, many of us actually have difficulty getting into and staying asleep.

It is during sleep where waste materials (such as the protein involved in Alzheimers) is flushed out of our brains, it is also when our bodies repair itself. Sleep deficiency has been linked several mental and physical ailments such as heart disease, high blood pressure, depression, ADHD and even obesity

How much sleep do you need? It depends but there is a difference between getting just enough sleep to make it through the day versus getting enough sleep to function optimally- mentally sharp and physically strong. The general rule of thumb is that healthy adults should be getting a range of 7-9 hours of sleep while children and teens definitely more.

There are many factors that affect our sleep, we can help find the root cause and address it.
